Didrex vs Adipex........?
I've taken adipex before and I do not like it at all. It doesn't suppress my appetite and I feel weird when I take it.

I've never tried didrex and I might go to the doctor to get prescribed. Has anyone taken both before? What's the difference in side effects between the two??

Thanks in advance

Users report that the side effects of Adipex are worse with over stimulation of your central nervous system, hypertension, problems with heart valves, and so on.

The weird feeling will probably be about the same.

Has anyone used adipex-p for weight loss?
My BMI is 30 and my doctor suggested me to lose weight. I explained that I have been trying but my hunger and my husband is not any help. So she wrote me a prescription for adipex-p and I was wondering if it works.

Yes it does work. I take it akong with a lasik to reduce the water. I dont follow the dtrict diet plan that the dr. gave me because I didn't wnant to lose a drastic amount of weight really fast and gain it all back. I have been taking it for a month now and I have lost 10 lbs and a whole lot of inches in my thighs and stomach area. My BMI too was 30. I will be tkaing them for another two months or so to see how it goes. At first it had me a lil shaky for the first few days, but after that I was fine. Really controlled the hunger. Feel free to ask me anything else..didn't want to write a book.

Where to buy Adipex P w/no script?
I have heard awesome reviews on Adipex P. I just want it so I can get an energy boost to workout. I work 2 jobs AND am finishing up in college...I'm sluggish when at the gym. I don't have health insurance so I can't get a perscription. Does anyone know any trustworthy site to order it online WITHOUT an rx?

They should not be taken together due to the risk of serotonin syndrome. It can cause extreme hypertension, seizures and other problems.

Either gg hasnt yet come off the pills or she is one of the 10% of people that keep the weight off.

That means that 90% of us gain it all back, and more. Seriously, dont do it. I can promise that once you come off them, you'll wish you had never taken them in the first place. Just count calories and try to exercise a bit and you will get REAL weightloss that you CAN keep off.

Is there a difference between Fastin and Adipex?
I know Fastin is no longer on the market, but Adipex has more phentermine in it. SO I am trying to figure out what the difference between them was.

Fastin is a drug similar to amphetamine used for appetite suppression, with the generic name phentermine. The scientific term for this kind of drug is sympathomimetic amine. Brand names include Fastin, Adipex-P, Ionamin, Obenix, Oby-Cap, Teramine and Zantryl.

Taking Fastin along with other diet medications can lead to a fatal lung disease called pulmonary hypertension. Do not take it along with other diet pills without your doctor's approval.

Side effects can include depression and extreme tiredness, dangerously high blood pressure, severe headaches, blurred vision, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure.

Fastin has not been produced since December 1998, when the American medical authorities made SK-Beecham withdraw Fastin from the market. Fastin is no longer produced and sold since Ionamin and Adipex diet pills were launched. Hi-Tech Pharmeceuticals acquired the rights to the formula and modified it to make it safe for over-the-counter sales.

Adipex falls unde the same category, another sympathomimetic amine. It is simply another name for the same kind of drug, and you will find there is really no difference. Phentermine is available with a prescription under the brand name Adipex and was previously available under the brand name Fastin.

Don't be fooled by the name change. Pharmaceutical companies like to play the shell game to fool consumers. You should be aware that the side effects of taking these kinds of drugs can be very risky, although it is still approved by the FDA for obesity. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice when dealing with these risky drugs.

I thinks it works very well. I lost 30 lbs taking it. After you are done you just have to remember to eat right and continue to exercise. I think it does work well you just have to remember that adipex is used short term.

Phentermine is highly regulated these days. It's next to impossible to get it, even over the internet, without a prescription. And even if you do find a site, it's probably not a reputable one. Scammers are starting to post links even here on yahoo answers (Scam sites are sellingfake pills that just sound like phentermine - phenhermine, phentrimine and many more..)
The only way is to get it from a doctor.
None of the people I know who once ordered phen online still do it. The good online pharmacies have stopped selling it, and just scammers are left who gladly take an advantage of this situation. If you will find a real and reliable source where you can still order the real stuff online then you will be very, very lucky. Just keep fingers crossed the pharmacy will be in business until your order arrives, because it can get closed any moment..
I stopped using phen 9 months ago and
started to take acomplia after I quit phen. It also works fine for me and I am losing a pound or a few every week.
It is very popular in UK, Germany and many other countries worldwide. Not so much in the US yet.
This is good site for Acomplia info if anyone's interested

Am I able to take adipex-p if I am diagnosed with a type of kidney disease?
I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis and I am currently prescribed CellCept. What interactions and side effects could occur?

Here's the deal. There isn't necessarily an contraindication with Cellcept. However, adipex-p is known to increase blood pressure and shouldn't be taken by anyone with high blood pressure. Because you have Lupus Nephritis you are prone to high blood pressure due to your renal function. Has a doctor actually prescribed adipex-p to you? I would find it hard to believe that an MD who knows your Lupus Nephritis diagnosis would prescribe this medication for you. How overweight are you? What is your diet like? Do you exercise? These are all better options than taking a 'fat' pill. You need to be careful because taking these kinds of medications put stress on the body and we all know that stress causes Lupus flares. If I were you I would avoid this medication like the plague, but at the very least discuss it with your nephrologist and your rheumatologist prior to taking it.

Yes. I take adipex twice a day. I take one in the morning around 9am and take one in the afternoon around 2 or 3 to help get me through the evening. There is the risk of not being able to sleep if you take it to late in the evening. I have lost about 60 pounds in a year. This maynot sound like alot, but I have learned that if you loss it slowly, most of the time you don't gain it back if you continue to watch what you eat.

I lost about 15 pounds But I gained it back. Its not a permanant solution. I know you hate hearing that I hate it when people tell me all that will work is exercise and eating right even though I know its true. Every one that I know that has taken adipex has gained it right back as soon as they quit taking them and eventually you will have to take 2 a day and then after that your Dr. probably won't prescribe you more than 2 a day. GOOD LUCK THOUGH!
